Roxwood County & Roxwood Island

STOP: INSTALL ONE VERSION ONLY

You CANNOT install Roxwood County and Roxwood Island at the same time. They are separate versions, not two required parts of Roxwood.

Roxwood County: an island connected to San Andreas by bridges.
Roxwood Island: a standalone island with no bridges to San Andreas, intended for servers that want to run Roxwood on its own without San Andreas.

County and Island are alternative versions of Roxwood. Neither is an add-on for the other. Installing both together makes their files conflict and can cause crashes, missing objects, and broken map elements.

Choose ONE. If both are installed, remove the other version and follow the steps below before asking for support.

Roxwood Island Installation

Roxwood Island uses the exact same installation and update process as Roxwood County. Follow the shared steps below, using the Roxwood Island downloads instead of the Roxwood County downloads. You do not need County to run Island.

SWITCHING VERSIONS? Remove all old Roxwood folders before installing your chosen version. Never merge County and Island files or keep both installed.

It is recommended to use WinSCP to transfer files, as FileZilla tends to corrupt assets. Transfer files one by one to avoid issues. If you are using a VPS, use the VPS's own browser instead of transfer programs, as these can corrupt files and cause server crashes.

How to Install and Update Roxwood County or Roxwood Island

Stop the Server.
Clear the Server's Cache.
Remove all old Roxwood folders from the resources folder, including any previously installed County or Island version. Do not merge the two versions.
Access the Cfx Portal Granted Assets and download all parts for ONE version only: Roxwood County OR Roxwood Island.
NOT EVERYTHING IN YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IS ROXWOOD. Only files named Roxwood are Roxwood. Other subscription downloads are separate content, not part of this map. Do not put them in the [roxwood] folder. From the Roxwood downloads, choose County OR Island, never both.

For County, download the following files. For Island, use the Roxwood Island parts instead, not the County files listed here.

Roxwood County DLC - Part 1
Roxwood County DLC - Part 2
Roxwood County DLC - Part 3
Roxwood County DLC - Part 4
Roxwood County DLC - Part 5
Roxwood County DLC - Part 6
Roxwood County DLC - Part 7
Roxwood County DLC - Part 8
Create a folder called [roxwood] inside the server's resources folder.
Open Part 1 and move all the content inside the [roxwood] folder from the zip file to the [roxwood] folder you just created.
Repeat step 6 for all remaining parts of your chosen version (Parts 2 through 8 for County). Do not add files from the other version.
Open the server.cfg file and add the line ensure [roxwood].
Download the No Boundary Limits Script.
Install this script in your scripts folder.
Open the server.cfg file and add the line ensure limits.
